TEST YOUR FINANCIAL LITERACY!

The Trinidad and Tobago Securities and Exchange Commission (TTSEC) over the period November 25th – December 20th, 2019, will conduct a survey online to determine the financial literacy levels of respondents. Several of the questions being utilised in this survey, specifically questions 5-9, were adapted from the 2014 Standard and Poor’s Global Financial Literacy Survey.

The TTSEC survey is limited to online responses and aims to measure participants’ knowledge on four basic financial concepts: risk diversification, inflation, numeracy and compound interest.

The data gathered from this exercise will be used to inform the development of the TTSEC’s Investor Education programme and shared among stakeholders.
